Venue $$ significance

Does anyone know what $ vs. $$ etc. means? It's not very easy to compute to actual dollar amounts when there is no guide on the site helping you out.

    I think there's a guide in a sticky on the Attire and Accessories board.

    The guide on Attire is for dresses. I think they don't usually provide the money info for venues b/c sometimes there is some negotiating that can be done, some venues offer discounts for "off season," etc. Also, venues want to get you in there so you won't just rule them out be looking online only. 


    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    That makes sense.

    Also, especially for venues, the $, $$, $$$ symbols are probably pretty arbitrary based on where you live.  $$$ in Dallas might just be a $$ in LA or something...
