  • Hrm.  Getting as much information as possible before the wedding isn't to help a couple stay together, but to break up a couple that shouldn't.

    That said, this may work out for you.  But I don't want you to be disappointed if it does, to look back at the time spent waiting and notice that you didn't get anything better at the end of it than people who hadn't waited at all, that all you got was extra celibacy and living apart.

  • I actually agree with you, Zsa.  We just found out that a set of newish couple friends have only been a couple for 2.5 years and have moved in together after 6 months.  I was a little shocked.  It made me feel like a prude, but dang...at 6 months I called DH boyfriend, but I wasn't thinking about future like that at all.
  • My fiance and I moved in together pretty quickly, but we'd also been friends for two years prior to that. We've actually lived together for more than three years of our relationship.
