Got my first RSVP..this is really happening!

Okay its my first post but I've been lurking the last months as I planned the wedding. Our invites went out last weekend and I got my first two RSVPs today in the mail!! I'm so excited but all of sudden as I started to update my attendee spreadsheet it hit me- this wedding is happening

Silly I know- but just had to share.

Well now that I've broken my silence on the board I'm sure I'm going to be hooked even more! LOL

OOooh fab! I've recently started getting my RSVP's, had 6 so far, but even more exciting - I've had two guests actually book their trip, that felt AMAZING! Can't wait to feel the similar buzz when each of my guests book their trip as I'm taking that as the real deal RSVP

Yaaaaaaayyyyy! There must be some great airfares from the UK cos our UK based guests have booked their flights too. We have 18 rsvps including ourselves (we didnt want to accidentally forget to count ourselves into headcounts etc). I will be expecting most of mine after formal invitations go out in October.

Jiimanie- absolutely agree those flights are the "true" rsvps...found out that Southwest was having a sale this week so that helped seal the deal with my guests and the rates at Flamingo were cheaper than my room block so if nothing else I know 6 guests

On a side note, ordered my fascinator this weekend..one more check off the list!
