Engagement Session Spots

Hey knotties. Could you give me recommendations for around the Charleston area to take our engagement pictures... we won a session thru a charity fundraiser but the photographer isn't from Charleston. Thanks! Much appreciated!

There are a TON of spots, Charleston is beautiful.  Pretty much anywhere south of Broad St on the peninsula you can not go wrong.  The Battery Park, Waterfront Park, any of the plantations such as Magnolia, Boone Hall, or Middleton.  I hope you don't have to book your session anytime soon though the humidity this time of year is downright brutal and you will not be a happy camper in pics.  The weather outside start to become bearable again in late Sept/early Oct.  Plus in the summer there are usually pop up, drench you to the bone thunderstorms that can come out of nowhere and flooding is always possible downtown.  You know all of this though if you are from here.   Check out any other Charleston based photographer's blog and you should be able to search the tags for the posts to see photos at area locations.
