Mother of the Groom

I am getting married next year and my fiancé's mother is very excited about our wedding (as well am I).  In her excitement she went out and bought her outfit for it; the wedding is still over a year away.  This is fine because we are moving out of town so our planning is a little weird anyway.  I am not a fan of people wearing black to weddings and my fiancé has told me she has purchased a black and white outfit.  Any suggestions? Or am I being too particular>

You can't dictate what she wears. She doesn't have to match your colors or anything. Look at it this way. Would you rather she wear white or ivory and match you?

We recently went to a wedding where the grandmother of the bride wore a black suit with a white rose corsage.  She was the best dressed one there - LOL.  She was elegant and that white rose stood out like a beacon.  You can never go wrong w/ a little black...'anything'!
