Conopy or no ?

We are getting married on a roof of a very tall apartment building in 38 days so August. So the weather should be fine (wedding starts at 6.30pm)

I might get a bit windy (probably)

Is it a good idea to hire a canopy or something as a back up (not plan to put it out but hire it just for weather)

Also would heaters be a good idea? I don't want people to get cold

Re: Conopy or no ?

  • Yes - I would get a tent/canopy and order the attachable sides (usually like $10/panel). If it's windy you can attach them, if not you can roll them up. Also, it's much more comfortable for people to be in the shade in August so even if it doesn't rain, I think it's money well spent.

  • Tent is a great idea! Even if it nice weather it may give you some more privacy.

A back-up tent/canopy is a good idea just in case.  I don't think heaters would be needed, but I have seen some weddings where blankets are offered to the guests.
