We are having our wedding out of town in Pittsburgh. Both of our families and we are from Harrisburg, which is 3 hours awqy. My future mother in law offered to pay for the rehearsal dinner. Should we invite all of our immediate families even if they are not in the wedding? Our wedding party is 12 people total, their significant others, parents are a given and the officiant....but what about his sister and my 5 other brothers and sisters and thier significant others? my family is bigger than his. I estimated it would be about 40 people. I dont want to be rude and ask my MIL to pay for a party that big. Although, we are paying for the entire wedding by ourselves........ But since our wedding is out of town for everyone I feel we should invite our immediate families........ugh what to do?
