Bachelor/bachelorette parties

What is everyone going to do for your bachelorette party(if you know already) and what is your fiancé doing? I'm interested in seeing what everyone else is planning So far the girls are going to go out in DC somewhere,(that could change to something simpler ) while the boys are contemplating a trip to Miami or just staying local. Because of busy schedules our parties are July 13 which is well before the wedding but its a day that works for everyone!

The guys are going to Las Vegas for a weekend trip and as for me and my girls....no clue! My sisters are trying to figure it out. I will either be going out to Hollywood, Santa Barbara or staying local. It's all up in the air. I do know for sure it will be July 27.

My FI is going camping with his guys next weekend.

For the girls, we're going downtown (Seattle) for dinner and then to a show (I think either drag or berlesque) and then a few bars and staying in a hotel. I think there is some other stuff planned, but I have no clue what it is.

We're going to Cape Cod for the night. Two of my BMs have houses there, and I'm hoping they are planning a trip to my favorite beach bar or to Provincetown, but the details are going to be a surprise. I can't wait-its not until the weekend before our wedding!

As for the boys, the last rumor I heard was Foxwoods to see a show, but I'm mostly in the dark on that one too.

We are doing a joint trip. A lot of our friends are couples anyway, and this way we can do Friday night and Saturday day together or in smaller groups (depending on what everyone else wants to do), and then Saturday night will be separate guys/girls. I think we will either do dinner together and then split up, or dinner and go out separately but meet up towards the end of the night. I don't know what the actual plans are for that night though, I know my bridesmaids have talked about it some but I don't think anything has been decided on.

Girls are doing a winery visit during the day and a piano bar/dinner out at night. Guys are doing a northwoods trip. Both are a week before the wedding! Can't wait!

mine was sup to be a surpise but i know we are going to NYC, going some type of male review show or something. and going to clubs in the area. 

my fiance is going to canada as to what else they have in store we dont know

Im from CT too dont we also have the same day the 31st?

We're keeping it simple - a hibachi dinner and then hanging out/sleeping/drinking at my mom's house. I'm not a club person, really, but we're going to have a slumber party like we're 12 except with way more wine. My MOH mentioned she might get a psychic to come to the house, too.

My girls are taking me out to Atlantic City for the weekend. During that time we'll go to the spa, hangout at the beach/pool, dinner and at night go to the clubs. For the guys, things are still up in the air since all of the groomsmen are out of town. They won't be going out until the week of the wedding and probably just spend the night in NYC have dinner and go to a bar. My FI isn't into strip clubs but the guys will probably drag him to one anyway LOL!

No I'm the 16th...still no date twins on the board I don't think (though a few have popped up on international boards).

We're actually in Central MA, just over an hour from Foxwoods. One of FI's GM is from CT though, so I'm guessing he had something to do with the plan. I hope they have fun! I like Foxwoods but it really hasn't been in our budget lately.

Ooo psychics are fun! I'm not personally a believer but they definitely make for some good conversation. One did tell me two years ago that August would be an important month for me...

@xstatic3333 - I'm not really a believer, either, but when MOH and I were in high school, we used to LOVE to go out for cofffe and then go and get our cards read by a woman who lived across the street from the Starbucks. She thought it'd be a fun throwback kind of thing, and it'll be fun to giggle over while we drink wine.

The psychic DID tell me the summer before college that I'd meet a dark haired man with green eyes and I met FI during freshman orientation ... but I figure that was a lucky guess.

Mine's the Saturday before the wedding since one of my BMs has to come in from Indiana. FI's is in 2 weeks, though! They're drinking/having dinner at the Elk's Lodge (they drink cheap and can cater food, since his dad is a member) then going to a boobie bar.

Mine is not until July 27th but the girls here have arranged for a limo to come get us and take us wine tasting and then after we are going back to one of the girls' house and she has a pool so we'll drink and eat all night.

The FI actually went to Vegas this weekend to meet his BM and the BM's brother who he is super close to.  They like to gamble and stay up late drinking beer.  He messaged me and called me all weekend LOL I'm sure his friends were like "dude WTF!"

I had mine this past weekend. The girls came to town for a girls weekend and the Kenny Chesney concert. We spent all day Saturday tailgating. We had a bad storm hit during the middle of the show, but Eric Church and Kenny prevailed and the show went on after about an hour and a half delay. I had tons of fun! My FI left for Vegas Sunday morning. Two of his groomsmen are celebrating their birthdays this week, they will celebrate the 4th of July AND his bachelor party- sounds like an exhausting trip to me. lol He's lucky though b/c my parents let him use their condo for the entire week, so at least they won't all be crammed in a hotel room. I expect they'll have a great time.

Hi ladies!

My bachelorette party was this weekend as well - the girls kidnapped me for some fun in Atlantic City, NJ (We stayed at their new casino - Revel - it was really great!) The guys kidnapped my future hubby for a night on the town in Morristown, NJ - they had a blast and he's still recovering poor thing!

At first I was super bummed because the girls that were planning my bachelorette party didnt plan far in advance and only 3 girls were able to make it this weekend - but we made the most of it - it was definately quality not quantity and in the grand scheme of things it didnt matter. Turned out to still be a great weekend and i wish you ladies all the best fun and enjoy every moment of your upcoming parties!!!

FI and some friends are going to the Lake of the Ozarks for a weekend to go boating, bar hopping etc.

For mine we are taking the train to Chicago Aug 10 and are going to dinner, Howl at the Moon and staying overnight down there.

Such fun parties planned! We had ours early ish - FI and 7 friends went to New Orleans for a long weekend. He and all his friends try to one up each others bachelor parties and they've turned into vacation getaways! My girls took me out in Hartford and we stayed overnight. Everyone had a blast.

My FI will be going to Las Vegas with his 2 of his guys 1st weekend in Aug.  His best man has a timeshare not far off the strip (everyone thinks I'm crazy to let him go to Vegas!!  He loves it there so I thought why not!).

My maid of honor has planned my weekend and I have no idea what we are doing.  All I know she is picking me up the Sat. morning and we are staying overnight somewhere.  I'm assuming we will be staying somewhere in CT and not traveling too far!  It's killing me not know what we are doing!  I'm a super planner  but I guess I'll have to wait until til the end of July to find out! *sigh*

Chicago is where we are going too, and I know my sister was looking at Howl at the Moon!

Oh, and I have to add that we are doing a second girls night thing locally. Some friends of mine that couldn't make Chicago wanted to do something, so we are going to the Backstreet Boys concert. I hate calling it another bachelorette party, so I have been calling it a girl's night, but I am really excited for that too!
