We picked a venue!!

We took a tour of the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott and loved it! After a wonderful lunch with Jeannie, who answered all of our questions and even won over our 4 year old which is hard to do, we took a tour. I must.say she sold me on everything, even the courtyard! I could envision myself walking down the path to my husband to be, friends, and family. I finally feel like I got something accomplished! We also met Maria who was just as friendly. I'm very happy with our choice!

Awesome! What is your date? Mine is May 11th. Just got our room blocks set up today and met with the florist last night. It is so exciting! I love that pathway too! Congrats on picking your place!!

Yay!! So glad you liked it too! Congrats! It really is a great deal bc the ballrooms are beautiful, and they handle all the details rather than using a vendor for each thing like at other venues. We're going to our tasting tomorrow there, will let you all know what food to try!

@Cnh we're getting married August 16 2014..the date I originally wanted was booked, so we had to be flexible..I'm just an early bird! @Caitlyn it was so great! She sold me as soon as she described the walk down the courtyard! Good luck.at your taste testing! Please let me know how it goes! As soon as we walked in I knew it was the place, so I'm really excited!! A plus was my FI liked it as well!!

I just had my tour with her over the weekend.  I absolutely loved it, but still not crazy about the idea of a hotel wedding (my future in laws are pushing it, though).

Awe, glad you liked it! What other places are you looking at? Venue hunting is just like dress shopping, you know when it's right. Your in-laws had their turn just maje sure you and your FI love it ..okay maybe just You! It's your day!
