Dancing Bride to be........ lessons in your wedding shoes??

Not sure I want to dance in my shoes for a few reasons, 1 my FI will see them, 2 what if he steps on them or if I scuff them?! I have been wearing them around the house to break them in when he isn't home, but I'm very careful not to do anything stupid. Suggestions?!? Don't want to buy a shoe just to dance in

I also practiced in my wedding shoes. We took lessons from a friend, and she advised me to use men's dress socks - I'd put my shoes on and then pull the socks on over them. It looked ridiculous, but it kept my shoes scuff-free!
