Ohio-Columbus

Hocking Hills

Ok, so I am just starting to plan our wedding for next June, and we have decided that we want to be married at Hocking Hills.  Columbus was the closest city to the area.  I live in Pittsburgh, so I will be doing a lot of internet research, so any and all help would be greatly appreciated. We are looking to be married outside, and have a small reception.  It is the second marriage for both of us, so this will mainly be a family only affair.  Looking to keep it under 50 people.  Of course, we are working on a budget, so any way I can cut cost would be excellent.  Has anyone been to or had a wedding around Hocking Hills, and if so what are your suggestions for us in ways of a place to have it?

Re: Hocking Hills

  • I looked into Hocking Hills and there are some beautiful options (at least in my opinion).  The downside is a lot of the chapels and reception rooms are TINY and can't hold more than 25-30 people.  As long as you can stick to your initial estimate of under 50 you should be able to find several options that would work.  Good luck!
