I am doing Grey Tuxes But i have seen weddings with guys in suits and it did look nice too it is all about your taste and what he groom will feel comfortable in
We chose the Vera wang classic black tux from men's wearhouse. We wanted a more formal look.
We went with the same tux, as well. I was set on grey suits for a while but, as we continued to plan, the black tux just worked with our level of formality.
We chose the Vera Wang grey tux from Men's Warehouse - our consultant said that it's nice because it still has some of the "tux" qualities while still almost looking like a suit. I love it, it was exactly what I had pictured.

A third for the Vera Wang classic black tux We also wanted gray for a white but when FI was trying things on, the black just looked more classic, which is what we are going for.

Make that four for the Vera Wang black tux. FI was set on tuxes and wouldn't even consider suits. I didn't really care.
My fiance wants to wear a suit, I think mostly because he wants to keep it. Plus both of his GM made a comment that they have been in wedding before and the cost of rental was so not worth it to them. They also would rather spend the money and be able to keep it.
My fiance and his groomsmen are all wearing dark grey suits from Jos A Banks. They have 70% off suits there for wedding parties, including the ties and shirts, which ends up being up about the same amount that the guys would pay for renting a tux. My fiance does like tuxes, but we have been to so many wedding where the fit is really poor and the tuxes look too baggy. He figured that with suits the fit would be really good and all the guys would have a new suit.

thats five for the Vera Wang tux... we got the grey and the great thing in my case the pants dont look like traditional tux pants
Aaaannnnddddd SIX for the Vera Wang tux. My FI really didn't want to do tuxes because every tux he's rented in the past has been so boxy and poor fitting but when he put on the VW tux he was so excited with how good he looked, which makes me excited. Our only hesitation was the price tag, but we decided to go with it anyway. Very excited to see all the guys look so sharp!

We got such a great deal on it and the GM are all excited to be able to keep it. FI and I have agreed to buy the socks and ties as a gift.
