I am looking at the Alyson Ann Barn tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone else was looking there and if anyone had any imput on the place and the catering around the area, places for people to stay over night and any other information you think would help me out.

I'm getting married at Westminster Preserve on the 18th of this month. I am using Jody's Pantry from New Castle for catering. They are a hike to see but so worth it and the food is to die for. The prices are great too.

There really aren't many hotels in the area but Kathy will tell you what's around.

If you like to be in constant contact with your venue owner don't pick this place. Kathy is really hard to get a-hold of and rarely returns phone calls or emails. Then she will tell you she never received either of them from you.

Yeah, getting married there too in Oct 2012.  We have the Fieldstone for reception and Alyson Ann for back up if it rains.  I think it's BEAUTIFUL there!  I've heard the same thing YIOughta said about Nancy not really being around so I'm planning on having a day of planner so hopefully that helps.  For what we are getting, we can have up to about 20 people stay there on the farm with us for the weekend.  Let us know how it goes and what you thought.
