Mermaid dress question

Ok, now that I've put a hefty down payment on my dress, I'm freaking out about a couple things. The dress is pretty darn tight and I'm worried about sitting down in it but more importantly how am I going to go to the bathroom??!!

You'll have the alterations made so you can sit down. If you can't sit, it's too tight in the hips. Your seamstress should know this. I wore a mermaid and climbed in and out of a limo without much issue. Just shimmy the dress up so you can pee/walk/move freely.

I agree - make sure you've got it altered correctly. Straddling the seat (facing the wall) is the best technique. It also helps to have someone there to keep you steady and to make sure parts of the dress aren't slipping into the bowl.

Is it zipper or corset back? In my bridesmaid opinion, if it is a zipper, it was way easier to just quickly take the bride out and then back into her dress.
