NWR - I want to stay on the knot!

I was married 3 weeks ago tomorrow and everytime I log in, it takes me over to the nest!  then a box pops up that says welcome etc. with a little link to take me back to the knot!  how do I tell it I want to stay on the knot?  forever!  :)

Re: NWR - I want to stay on the knot!

  • I think you can just change your wedding date to 2020 or something crazy like that
I guess, to tell you the truth, I've never had much of a desire to grow facial hair. I think I've managed to play quarterback just fine without a mustache. - Peyton
  • Mine used to do that, but eventually they gave up on me.

What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

Ugh, I hate that TK redirects us old marrieds to TN.  If I wanted to go to TN, I would go to the damn Nest.

I would suggest changing your wedding date under "My Account."  That *should* work.

  • Hey there! I'm going to see if there is a way to disable the prompt for you.
  • @Litaris I sent a message to the team to see if that's possible for everyone. Will let you know when I hear back :)

@KnotPorscha-if it helps, tell them it's really dumb to be auto-directed to a different page just because your wedding date has passed.  When I go to a web page, I want to be on the page I clicked on or typed in.  Not redirected somewhere else just because TK thinks I should be there based on a date.

  • oo oo oo me too, @knotporscha!  I never log out intentionally, but I find sometimes in the middle of posting I get booted and have to re-log in (the getting booted issue is probably my own network's security settings)
  • @Liatris2010 agreed! We have received a lot of feedback on the pop up ads and are working on limiting the amount of times members will see them while logged in.

Mine does the same thing. I never log out and it'll show me as logged in but when I go to post it says "no you can't do that"

After 6 years and 2 boys, finally tying the knot on October 27th, 2013!

  • Did you ever find an answer for being listed TWICE on my boards for Detroit?
  • It really offends me that the knot wants to gently pat us on the head and push us over to the nest. Like once you get married you should be barefoot and nesting.

After one year of marriage, I've been invited to The Bump. Ugh!
  • It defaulted me once after the wedding (4 weeks ago), but I just clicked stay on the knot and it has not sent me back to the nest--
