Chair Sashes

I have the opportunity to buy about 200 chair sashes for a total of $200 (+shipping). But the problem is that half are satin and half are organza. Do you think it would look stupid if I did half satin and half organza in the same color? I just can't picture what it would look like and I will need about 200 sashes.

I say save the money and skip the sashes completely.

I agree with Addie.  My friend got married back in April.  I swear she stressed about her chair covers and sashes forever (plus her light pink tablecloths).  Guess what?  I didn't even notice the chair covers/sashes until she said something about them to me.  The room was pretty dark with some up lighting so everything kind of disappeared, heck you couldn't even notice what color her linens were, they all looked white to me even though I knew different.

I agree with everyone else: not a necessary expense. But if you are committed to having them, I would say that the mix will look fine. If you're worried about it, maybe alternate chairs (one satin, next one organza, etc) to make it look like it was a coordinated/planned thing. I really don't think anyone will notice one way or another, and it will look beautiful no matter what.
