Where to put the cupcakes?

We're having a wedding cake, a grooms cake, and then cupcakes for the kids. Any suggestions how to display the kid's cupcakes? The wedding cake will be on its own table and the groom's cake is going on the cookie table. We've thought about having the kid's cupcakes just held in the back or on the tables (worried about parents not liking this pre dinner). Thoughts?

I think keeping them in the back would be easiest...if you display them on the cookie table, I could see overeager guests deciding to help themselves. And I'm not sure of the age range of kiddos you'll have there, but I think putting them on the tables ahead of time is asking for way too much restraint from the little guys. I have a hard time turning down a cupcake when it's staring me in the face, so I'm guessing kids wouldn't be able to handle it for any length of time either :-) .

I agree with keeping them in the back.
