Need Help!

I am planning a wedding for February 22 of next year. I will be having a DIY Dessert Only reception at 2pm in the afternoon. My fiance is from a town an hour away from where I live and where the wedding will be held. Most of his family will be invited to the rehearsal dinner the night before and spending the night in a hotel. My question is should I hold a day of lunch for the bridal party and out of town guest since I will only be having desserts at the reception??

That's a nice idea but I don't think it's necessary. 

What time is the ceremony?

if its in your budget, i think it would be a nice gesture.

I agree with PP, it's a nice thought but not necessary.

 

However what time is your ceremony starting.  If it is close to noon you might want to throw some light apps in with the desert reception.  Some people aren't tha big on sweets and need a bit more substance when hungery.

Thanks for your help! I have decided to change things up since I picked a different location that will be more cost effective.So now I am having a 5pm wedding with dinner.
