I must share for your entertainment

I can't keep quiet about this disgusting display of atrociousness any longer. I'm fairly certain that they have broken every etiquette rule for weddings.

First, they decided to pick their wedding parties a year in advance.
Second, they changed the date 5 times, and updating it on facebook every time.
Third, they kicked out a member of their wedding party.
Fourth, they are having a tiered reception.
Fifth, they are inviting people over facebook.

There is so much wrong going on here my head hurts.

  • Not even. I picked up a shift at work instead. My fiance (the one kicked out of the wedding party) and I weren't invited until this morning (wedding day) on facebook. And only invited to the dance portion of the evening with strict instructions not to show up until after 9 as the dinner may still be going on...

Ya.... no, I'm not going to this sh!t show.
  • Wow. I have no words. This is 100% completely awful.

  • This gets a WTF from me.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

I would keep them on FB for the entertainment factor. I wonder what their guests will have to say after the fact...
  • Because sadly my fiance still considers them close/ best friends, which to me is mind boggling.
  • What was the situation that led to them kicking out your FI?  Was it the usual 'even sides' BS?

  • Or maybe he refused to plunk down $200 for a bachelor party?

  • I honestly don't even know. I think she thought that he was ignoring her and that he didn't like her or something stupid like that so she told her fiance to leave him out of the wedding party.
  • He was told he was in the wedding party last summer and that was it. He was never asked about anything after that.

    I'll second that.

  • So he wasn't blatantly kicked out, but they thought that if they just never mentioned it again, he'd forget about being asked?  Classy folk.
