Reception Venues

I'm looking for a venue in ws nc or near. Where I can hold my wedding reception. We are on a tight budget and would like to bring our own food and alcohol. Any suggestions would help. Thanks a lot.

Have you thought about doing it at a garden with a tent, or maybe in nice weather?  I knew someone who did hers in Greensboro at this garden (link below) and she was allowed to bring a keg, but not a tent.  They have a lovely wedding gazebo there.

This sounds crazy, but they opened this beautiful garden at the Natural Science Center in Greensboro as well.  You can get married outside there if you have a small-ish wedding, and I know that the fee is minimal.  http://www.greensboroscience.org/parties/rentals/index.shtml
