Checklist Reminder Settings

I have assigned checklist items to my fiance (works fine).  When I set the reminder on one of his items, it shows his name and email address, all good.  The reminder comes on time, but it keeps coming to my email address associated with our login instead of to his email that was in the reminder box.  Seems to be a bug.  Solution?
