My bio dad emailed to tell me that he and his partner are getting married in December. After being together for 25+ years, it's so nice that they can make it legal now.

Yeah, it's probably closer to 35 years, but he wasn't out when we were younger so I'm not positive... I don't remember them not being together but I only saw him a handful of times before I was 12... We're not super close now, but things are better than they used to be...
