Silly lotto ticket question

Do you know of any stores in northern NJ (Montclair, LIttle Falls, Clifton, Cedar Grove, Totowa, etc) that sell Matri-Money, the $1 scratch off lotto ticket?

I hardly ever play the lotto, and my local Stop and Shop has a machine with lotto tickets, but not the Matri-Money ones. It's a silly question (cause the answer may be any liquor store) but I honestly just don't know so it's not something I do often.

And - do they have an expiration date? Is it one year from purchase? Or, does it have to be used within a much shorter time span (say, 1 month?) Thanks!

  • I'd try a 7-11. They usually have a wide variety of lottery tickets.

I'm not sure about the expiration date - when you find them make sure you look before you buy a bunch of them - but one thing I will say is just make sure you don't punch holes in them or alter them in any way or they will be invalid.  Luckily I learned this before I punched holes in the ones I bought for the lottery toss bouquet.
