It's getting close!

So, I've recently had a friend take our engagement photos two weeks ago.. Her mom just died from cancer and she hasn't been able to get to working on my photos. Of course I had to tell her to take her time. We plan to use these pictures on our invitations that need to be sent out soon! She doesn't know that I'm using them for the invitations and I feel like I can't rush of course. What do I do?!!! Eeeek...

When you say "just died"...when was that?  When is your wedding?

Depending on how long just died has been and when the wedding is i would just be honest with her. If it was this week or last week i would give her a little bit more time. But when you get down to the wire just be like i know your going through a hard time but i need to talk to you about our pictures. Can i just look at the unedited versions and possible pick one or two to touch up for our invites. Am sure she will not mind letting you look at them and editing one or two is easier on her than all of them. Your time line will just have to depend on your date and how you think she feels.
