I think I have narrowed down my search to this venue but I'm a little taken back and wanted to find out if any other brides have experienced the same thing. When I initially called, I was told that regardless if my reception was on a weekday or weekend, deposit is the same. I was then told in regards to minimum's, whether we had the ballroom or the smaller room, on a Saturday the minimum's would be the exact same. Ok, that made NO sense to me. When looking at their packet today, it clearly says that the deposit on a weekday is discounted and the food is as well. So, after somewhat complaining of the misinformation, the venue that was $1000 to hold is now $500 (weekday) and the minimum on a Saturday for food all of a sudden was lowered by $3k. Has this happened to anyone else? They are still telling me that the entrees are the same price 7 days a week, again, contradicts the wedding packet.
