Another dress fitting!

I had my first fitting this past weekend.  (I had tried on the dress when I picked it up a few month back, but this was the first time they were actually looking at it on me in terms of fitting and alterations.)

It turns out that I don' t need any alterations - it fits perfectly as is! I'm tall, so it didn't need to be hemmed which also makes it easy.  They do however need to put in cups so I don't need to wear a bra, and that helped SO MUCH in terms of how it fit me.

I will be getting a regular bustle (Not French) and it will be picked up at 3 points.  The skirt is tulle, and I was advised that tulle and French bustles don't always mix well. Totally fine by me.

I will pick it up in mid/late-September! Woohoo!

That's awesome! I have my first fitting tomorrow and I'm so excited.  I've been allowed to put it on twice since it came in and can't wait to do it again tomorrow

Fitting question - did you all bring someone with you to your fitting? I wasn't sure if I needed another eye or opinion on the fit and how I should alter it (trying to decide if I should get it altered into sweetheart neckline or not). The wedding shows all show big groups coming to fittings but I don't trust them!

yes i brought one of my bridesmaids and my mom with me to help me with my dress!

I'm just bringing one of my bridesmaids.  She sews and I figured it would be helpful to have at least one of my bridal party know how to do the bustle!
