String trios.. what do they cost??

Anyone using a string trio for your ceremony?? I'd love to find out what past and current brides paid/pay for string trios!

    We used a string trio and spent $1,100 for 3 pieces for 4 hours. That price did include additional fees we had to pay for some special music we wanted that they had to write music for. 
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    I wanted a string trio for my ceremony and the professionals wanted $200 each for each hour.  Crazy.  I ended up hiring high school kids and paid them each $50 for the half hour or so they were there.  They did a fantastic job.  I'd look into this option or college kids if you have some in your area.
