Well The Dude had his first chemo treatment today and made it through. He is tired tonight but otherwise doing fine. Prior to the chemo today he had two radiation treatments about a month ago. As part of his treatments he has to take scans to track his progress. The praise report is that his levels dropped one whole point! Woohoo! And this is BEFORE the chemo treatment. If his levels continue in this direction we will be able to drop that nasty chemo and stick with the radiation. I know this is just the beginning but the doctors are very happy with his overall health (outside of the cancer) and his results so far. I am so happy and standing even more firm in my faith and belief in the power of prayer. It's just the start of the fight but I believe the battle is already won.
