Morning ladies! It's finally Friday!

What's up for the weekend?

I have a wax appointment after work and then I need to pack. H, Lucy, and I are driving down the shore to my parent's house around 8 tonight.

Tomorrow I want to lay on the beach all day and read. My parents are taking me out to dinner for my birthday in Cape May which will be really nice!

Sunday, we'll head home pretty early to (hopefully) avoid traffic and get some stuff done around the apartment.

I have no clue what I'm doing this weekend. R has a friend coming into town, so I don't know if I'll see him much or at all this weekend. If I don't, then it's going to be a quiet weekend at home, cleaning and relaxing and being an all around bum.

Tonight FI and I are going to the parent's house for a bit to hang out and then we are doing Insanity together once we get home. That stuff seriously kills me and I feel like my workouts aren't doing much for me anymore. 

Saturday FI has Alta playoffs starting early in the morning and I need to run a bunch of errands. That night his parents are having my family over dinner. FI's stepmom is an amazing cook so I'm excited to eat w/e she makes.

Sunday is church and then relaxing for the rest of the day.

I've got to do laundry and keep knitting those gorram Christmas presents. I've got to sleep, too. I haven't done a lot of that lately and I'm starting to get short with people.

No real plans this weekend other than going to see The Conjuring either tonight or tomorrow. We will probably go over any wedding things that still need to be done on Sunday but beyond that we are laying low.

I am so glad it's Friday. Most of the week I've been feeling real dizzy and tired. I don't know why may be it's the weather, may be I'm getting sick. No idea tonight I am just relaxing we may try to finally hang up some things on the walls.  I'm hoping to feel better.

Tomorrow I'm going to Atlantic City for a friend's bachelorette party. We're going out to eat and then a club dancing. It should be fun, I'm just hoping I'm feeling better. Waking up kind of early the next morning to get to church and then hanging out at home hopefully to help FI finish the patio and relax/recover from the night before.

@IrishDreamer - I just wish we lived closer to the beach. It's about an hour east or an hour south to get to any beach at all and almost 3 to get to my parents.

@Jessica41381 - The Conjuring was REALLY good. It made me jump so many times. I just said to H that I want to see it again now that it's out (we went to a screening in May). 

@Peaseblossom55 - I was actually supposed to be in AC for a bachelorette party tomorrow night! I ended up having to skip it though because money is tight with H not working as often as normal.

@swazzle - have fun laying around the beach!  sounds like a perfect Saturday.

today after work I don't have much planned.  I think we're going to BBB to buy my juicer (I have $60 in gift cards plus a couple coupons, so it should only be $35 or so out of pocket!!) for my early birthday gift.  and grocery shopping, and stopping by the paint store to stock up on paint that is on sale this week.  and probably a workout.  nothing super exciting tonight.

tomorrow we are celebrating our two year anniversary.  we're going to get up and pick peaches at a you-pick-peach-orchard, and then H has plans for the rest of the day!  it should be a lot of fun.

Sunday, probably napping will be involved.  I'm not sure what else.

@swazzle have fun at the beach, this heat wave is brutal. We were looking at the weather in Mexico last night and it's hotter here than Mexico...crazy.

@peaseblossom55 have fun in AC, I hope you feel better though! Last time I went to the casino I was so sick and only lasted a whole 1/2 hour before going back to the hotel.

@cocobellaf which juicer are you buying? I have to go to BBB this weekend too to get the LED tea lights, I'm going through my e-mail now trying to find a coupon!

This weekend is kind of busy.

Friday night I'm going to Mohegan Sun Casino to see a Barenaked Ladies, Guster and Ben Folds concert. I'm leaving right from work, so I have my outfit ready to go. The traffic to get to the casino SUCKS. I'm leaving my job at 4pm, I guarantee I won't be there until 6pm . I'm meeting my friend up there who's staying at the casino overnight with her parents en route to a Block Island vacation. She's going to the concert with me and we'll get some eats before-hand (hopefully).

Saturday BF and I are dropping off a cable box that we haven't used in months and BF is still paying for it. This is an adventure in of itself. The line at the cable office is so long there are food trucks for people waiting. After that we're going to BJ's to buy a case of diapers for a diaper cake I'm making for my friend's baby shower. Next is Target to get a gift for my friend's bridal shower. Then I got a 25% off coupon from Michael's so I'm using that for decorations for the diaper cake. Then off to BBB for the tea lights. If the weather is nice I'll probably work on my tan outside while rolling 127 diapers up......Saturday night we're meeting my friend and her H for dinner at a resort on the shoreline, it should be fun.

Sunday we have nothing planned. I'm hoping the weather is nice so I can work on my tan some more.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning for my big trip home. I could not be more excited! 

I land in Buffalo tomorrow around 12:30, so I should be to my mom's house by 2. From there both Saturday and Sunday are wide open for relaxing with her and whoever else in the family stops by. The crazy-busy-ness kicks in Monday and goes for the rest of my "vacation" week. Still better than being in the lab

H and I are continuing to pack our apartment.  I guess you never realize just how much stuff you have until it's time to move it all!

Then tonight, H and I are going to Worcester to say our goodbyes to his family.  We'll be returning Sunday morning. 

Sunday will be brunch with friends, more packing, and a sendoff with our friends at my favorite bar in Boston.

Monday will be packing all day, last minute errands, and dinner at Top of the Hub...just the two of us.

And Tuesday we leave.  Ahhhh!

Tonight we have a couple friends coming over to hang out. It's blazing hot, so I don't think we'll do much besides sit around, chat and drink.

Saturday we're going to his cousin's wedding. We barely know the family (we just moved to this area of the country) so it should be interesting. 

Sunday DH has a sprint triathlon and I'm doing my first trail run. Then @jenjenniferf and Mr. JenJenniferF are coming to visit for food and wine and good times.

@buddysmom your concert is like my college experience. BNL & Guster was my first-ever REAL concert (I saw them at MSG my sophomore year), Guster came to the Q twice (my freshman year & senior year) and Ben Folds came my sophomore year!! Annnndd I still love all of them, so there's that.

Tonight, I have no plans, and I'm totally okay with that. It's too hot to do anything anyway.

Tomorrow, BF is going to a bachelor party in the evening, and I'm spending the day with one of my girlfriends. We haven't decided what we're doing yet - we might go to her friends lake house, or go to Lake George for the day, or go shopping at the outlets in Lee... we're waiting to hear from some other friends before we make the final decision. My friend LOVESSSSS horror movies, so I think we're going to see The Conjuring as well - even though I'll probably watch most of it through my fingers. The last time we went, we saw Sinister, and I sat there with my head on her shoulder and the hood up on my sweatshirt. Some woman behind me said to her friend "Why is that poor girl here??" 

I don't think I have anything going on on Sunday either. Probably just going to clean the apartment and lay low.

@swazzle @peaseblossom55 small world! My bff's bachelorette is this weekend too. I think they ended up north of AC though. I didnt risk the drive with my stomach but I'm sure they'll all have a fabulous time.

Today, fi is taking off work early to go golfing with some coworkers so he should be home for a late dinner approximately. Then we will probably watch the orioles game. Exciting stuff.

Tomorrow, the grass needs to be cut. And we will probably watch the orioles game. I also would like to spend some time in the shop (I'm making a wooden chess set on the scroll saw) if its not too warm. We need shop ac (and would get it if we actually owned the house)

Sunday, we need to pick up some lunch food at the store and maybe work in the shop or watch the orioles. Our lives are pretty slow at the moment but that's okay. Next weekend, I'll start my colonoscopy prep and I'm not happy about that at all. Ugh. So I might as well enjoy this weekend

I'm working all weekend at the speedway at the booths. Apparently the Army needs some girls to help get guys sign up. My first day is today so I'm excited. I've never been to the races before!

@peaseblossom55 I'm just trying to get the girls to figure out a shower date for her lol. That'll be up in north jersey so I kinda need a heads up. It's in September though so I'm hoping I'll be healthy then so I can make awesome food. Actually I spent most of the day yesterday throwing together a rough menu, games, feel for the shower. Her maid of honor is just SO busy this summer!

Needless to say, I'll be in jersey a bit this year. September for the shower, December for Christmas/possibly my shower, January for my cousins wedding...may or so for a baptism. Etc. I just need to miraculously make one of those the same day as a jersey get together...

@buddysmom80 @BriSox81 I LOVE Guster! I got to see them play with BNL back in 2001 (New Year's Concert), and again my freshman year of college. Such a great band, especially live!

@loves2shop4shoes Oh god, moving is such a pain!! Where are you moving to? Enjoy Top of the Hub! I went there for restaurant week, and it was so much fun! My partner and I have been discussing going there to celebrate our engagement when it happens.

My weekend is going to be equal parts awesome and awful. Once a year, I play in a flute ensemble that meets for one weekend. It's super fast-paced: rehearsals Thursday and Friday after work, then all day Saturday, and then mini-rehearsal and concert on Sunday.

On the one hand, I always have SUCH a blast. I used to be a really serious musician through high school, but once college started, I didn't have time for it anymore. Playing in this group is always a summer highlight for me, and I have a great time.

On the other hand, it's a huge time commitment and it's absolutely exhausting. We just had our first rehearsal last night, and my body is completely out of shape for it (not joking--my core is not up for this!), so I'm already feeling overtired physically and mentally. And I'm supposed to be finishing my first draft of my qualifying exam proposal, which has been VERY difficult to work on. I have no time this weekend to work on it, except Saturday night, but I have barely seen my partner this week and want to spend some downtime with him.

So yeah, my whole weekend is going to be a combination of playing flute, traveling in the 100-degree heat, and fretting over this proposal.

HOWEVER, I am very excited because today after work, my partner and I are going to the jeweler to pick up my engagement ring!!

@bethsmiles Not yet My partner and I agreed that we're going to each get to look at and try on our rings to make sure they look and fit right, and then we're each hiding each other's ring until we're ready to make it official. So it'll be another month or two till I'm posting pictures. But I definitely will be gushing about it immediately, and I'll be posting pics as soon as we're engaged.

I'm so glad his ring isn't ready yet because I'd be so tempted to just do it tonight. Waiting is hard!

Yayyy weekend!

Tonight I don't really have anything planned, I will probably just drink on my mom's porch

Tomorrow I have to clean and do some errands in the morning. My friend is bringing her husband and his friends into Boston for the Sox/Yankees game, so another friend and I said we would come drink in the city during the game and wait with her. We're meeting up with a coworker and his brother who are going to the game as well, and not only might he have extra tickets for us but this is the brother who dated Jenna Marbles. So I'm excited.

Sunday my sister and a friend of ours are spending the day on the beach/at the beach bar
