Wedding Vendor Reviews

Venue: Cincinnati Art Museum - B
The venue itself is gorgeous but the staff is HORRIBLE to get a hold of up until the wedding day. The food we got on our wedding night was not the same we tasted at our tasting, not sure if they changed chefs or what. Our day was great, but the over all experience for the price was definitely not an A.

Hair: Samantha, High Five Salon - A+
Got me and a bunch of bridesmaids ready, everyone looked great!

Makeup: Andrea and Ashley, Alba Beauty Studio - A+

Photographer: The Married Photogs - A+
The were always prompt at replying if I had a question. Made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and love the work they do. We don't have our full wedding set back yet but the previews are beautiful.

Video: Studio Z - Not sure yet
We are still waiting on our video. We had a hard time getting a hold of them before the wedding and on the wedding day. I never actually met anyone from the company until the day of our wedding. Hopefully our wedding video rocks because they were pretty pricey.

Cake: Big Day Bakery - A+
Carol made our cake. It was so creative and gorgeous. Also tasted so yummy!

Limo: MotorToys Limo Service - C
The limo was clean/fine but our driver was not very good. Hard to communicate with her. She got the guys there late because she didn't call to tell anyone she was at the hotel waiting. Not very friendly in general. Seemed annoyed when we needed to add a stop or to be driving us at all. 

Lighting: Goodwin Lighting - A
Did what we asked, easily changed out lighting when the weather changed and we had to move in side, easy to work with.

DJ: Joe Griffin - A-
Joe was fun to work with and be around. He responded quickly to any questions. He did a great job with the music at the reception. The ONLY bad thing I have to say is we asked him to MIC us for the ceremony. I am not sure if he forgot, or the mic wasn't turned up loud enough or what but no one in the audience got to hear our ceremony :(

  • I am having a very hard time with the art museum too. We signed our contract in December of 2012. Since then they have gone through three coordinators. Now the most recent coordinator is saying our contract was never signed and there is no record of our payment. In addition they say the price on our contact is too low. It is a serious headache. Luckily I have copies of the contract, emails and payment. I think they have a hard time retaining staff. Seems very unorganized and unprofessional.
