RSVP funny

Dang, I wish I would have thought of this for my RSVP cards!

Re: RSVP funny

  • Whoever came up with that was a sheer genius.
  • I like the Cubs one lol. I think the second one is super weird to have on there, though. What is someone not in the wedding party checks it off?
My dad's cousin did something similar and my aunt completely side-eyed it and called it tacky. I definitely think this is one of those "know your guests" things, for sure.

It definitely depends on your guests. My family and friends would think it was pretty stupid and weird. (I gave it a side-eye too.) Maybe I'm just old.

Also, I didn't like the bit about the Cubs. ;)

That sounded more harsh than I meant it to be. You really have to know your crowd is all I meant. I can see how that would appeal to some, and I wouldn't judge. I'd just think the bride and groom were much younger than me. I'm still sort of formal-ish when it comes to invitations.

My family and friends would love something like this. If we do RSVP cards, or we're skilled enough to pull this kind of thing off with the wedding website, then it's something we're gonna consider.

The original is funnier to me (I understand why people utilize things that they find but are not...frugal to purchase, but I also like the design better overall). Plus the invite in the suite is also quite amusing.

We almost got this one as our wedding isn't very formal, but I thought some of my older relatives would side-eye. Also, while I think the thank you notes are really funny...I could see it offending some people.

    Hopefully the links worked right...

    ETA: bold to the clicky.

  • It made me giggle, but I would never consider actually using it. The concept is funnier than the usage.

Ooh, I don't like the thank you notes at all. The invitation is annoying, but the thank you notes are downright awful.
  • It's funny but I don't think I could do it.

    Anniversary

  • It was probably just intended as a spoof, not as an example to follow in real life.
  • Ugh, those are awful. Maybe I just have zero sense of humour, but I would be horrified if I got an invitation or thank you like those.
