Friday afternoon curiosity poll: Is your wedding band engraved?

FI hasn't ordered his yet (he's in the process), but his definitely will be. He went to a Military academy that changed his life and has worn his class ring on his wedding finger for the past 22 years (he's 40 and has never been married), so he's incorporating features of that. The outside will have the navy and marine corps symbols with "CMA" (school name), then the inside will say, "two worlds, one family." I think it would be cool to have mine engraved the same on the inside, but it's a thin band, so I doubt it is possible.

Mine is way too thin to be engraved. My husband had my iPad engraved instead.

This is really sweet!  Some of those vintage ring boxes are really beautiful.

We were going to get ours engraved, but we ran out of time to do it.  (the people who sized and soldered my ring effed up so many times that it wasn't done until the day before the wedding!).  We weren't going to do H's unless we could guarantee mine could be done in time too.  We may do it for an anniversary though.  All we were going to have engraved was the infinity symbol.

Yep, ours are engraved. It's a cute in-joke from our first date. His says "forever" and mine says "and ever."
