getting ready?

I need some advice about when to start getting ready for my wedding.  I am getting married at 11am but I plan on hiring a makeup/hair artist for me and my mother.  what time should I start getting ready so I can get there in time I am staying about 20min away from where I am getting married and I would like to there by 10am? Any suggestions or ideas?

    Plan on at least 90 minutes for hair/make up time at the salon in the chair for yourself.  If the same person is doing your mom and your hair, then I would add an extra 60 minutes there.  Then add whatever commute time you have to get to the salon from home and from the salon to the ceremony spot.  I would then add an extra half hour of just in case time.  My wedding is at 4:30pm and everything is on property, so no commute to get to/from salon or to/from ceremony.  Pictures start at 2:30, so I am starting to get ready at Noon.  I hope that helps!
