Hello! :)
can anyone recommend a seamstress that is experienced with wedding dresses? my dress is vw351112 I just need to get it hemmed as I'm only about 5'4.
david's bridal quoted me $190
preferably in mississauga, but if it's worth it I don't mind going east or north :) TIA!
Our wedding day also marks our 11th anniversary of being together :)

    That's actually a good price.  I'd stay with them.  But if you really want another opinion, try Pearl Sato or Pom Penner - they're the top seamstresses in Toronto and both worked in the bridal industry for years.  They're located in the East end in Scarborough/Markham.  They are a bit pricier, but they're well worth it.

    Chris and Tina's Bridal Boutique in Parkway Mall (victoria park and ellesmere) are very reasonably priced and have been in the industry for ages. They had to do an emergency job for my friend when her initial seamstress didn't come through and she had A LOT of work done

    You can google both Pom and Pearl - Pearl has a website.  Both Pom and Pearl are mentioned in the Bride's Project as recommended seamstresses.
