Morning Ladies!
It's been a while since I started a GM post!! My boss is off to his follow up meeting and I can finally breathe again! We've been pretty busy out of work too - yesterday we met with FI's priest to sign some papers then had dinner at FILs house.... we're now just contacting vendors and finalizing times etc!! I can't believe we're at 17 days!!! Yikes!!! Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning!

Went to the doctor yesterday and it turns out it is a stress fracture! So no surgery for me (unless I walk on it and do more damage). The stress fracture is pretty severe though, with a web of fractures all over the top of the bone going down to the side of the bone, so I can't put any weight on it for 6 weeks at least. So boo on that. I'm already quite frustrated with crutches.

I also definitely have a decent stress fracture around the other knee, but it's not nearly severe and the doctor is hoping it starts to heal as well as I'm basically keeping off my feet as much as possible. As he said, I only have one walkable leg and I have to use it, stress fracture or not. We will have to wait until the bad one heals before we can focus on it.

GM! Last night DF played golf so I was able to catch up on a few things - aundry, gossip girl, magazine reading

Tonight i'm going to the Usher concert with my MOH and a couple other friends. So looking forward to it!


G - yay for being so close! any other big items left on your list? I can't remember.. are you doing programs?

sarilynn - yikes! glad you do not have to have surgery but gees.. i really feel for you not being able to be on your feet really.. esp this time of year. So glad you have a supportive FI to help! T&Ps your way!

GM!  I went to a formal dinner for the seniors in my house last night which was nice... I realized how much I am going to miss them all!  Then I watched The Voice... anyone else watch it?  I love it.  Today is lots of work on my presentation for China.

g - so excited to see all your wedding details come together... cant it be the end of the month yet!?

sari - wow that sounds like it's all really painful (and frustrating)!  Hope you heal up quickly.

db - I miss watching gossip girl... its so ridiculous but its one of my guilty pleasures

sari - Oh my goodness!!! I'm so sorry to hear about your TWO stress fractures!!! That really stinks! Wishing you a very speedy recovery!

db - The Usher concert sounds super fun!! Enjoy!! As for me, yes - I am doing my programs. My aunt is getting them approved through the music director and coordinator at St. Paul's then I can get them printed. I'm hoping to do so later this week or early next week! I got the ribbon to tie them together so I'm just waiting on approval and just need them printed! I also am DIYing my escort cards.... my inspiration is this image:

to sort of 'match' my invites. So we are working on the table assignments now, then I need to print and assemble the escort cards... I hope it doesn't take too much time! I'm not using the ribbon and feather, just the lace. Should turn out nice!

md - CAN'T believe how soon you'll be in China!! Super jealous! Take tons of pictures!! Also I watched the voice and absolutely LOVE it!! Who is your favorite?? I think Blake made a mistake not picking the other guy (can't remember names) but all the other decisions I agreed with!! I def think it's better than Idol!

g  - I totally agree, blake messed up by not picking the other guy.  But that will end up hurting him later when the teams have to compete.  I kinda loved both of the girls Cee-Lo paired against each other at the end - very sad.  And I agreed with Christina and Adam's choices.  Def better than Idol.  Whose team do you think is the strongest?  I think it might be Adam.

G - LOVE your inspiration for the escort cards! they really will go nicely with your invitations!

i really want to watch the voice but DF will NOT watch it with me. Id DVR it but i have 3 other shows he wont watch with me that i have to dvr lol. Its hard to catch up!
