Alteration costs...

How much have you or will you pay for a bustle (I don't even know if I'm spelling it right)... Also, i'm having my sash sewn to the dress because I don't want a bow or for it to move.  Have you had this done?  If so, how much was that?

Alterations costs really depend on what is exactly needed and what the seamstress is charging.  They can go from one end of the spectrum to the other.  From $75 to upwards of hundreds of dollars.  You will never know how much you will pay until you have your first fitting.

I have nothing to compare it to.  They could tell me any price and I wouldn't know if it was good or jacked up...

I had a hem and a bustle done for $150. I went to a seamstress that was highly recommended on my city board.

My dress was from David's bridal. So that's where I got my alterations and they steam cleaned it for free.

My bustle was about $75. I paid overall $150 due to her letting out my dress, adding cups.
