Wedding Woes

2 days until wedding and aunt flo has arrived...

This is probably TMI... sorry...

So, I have been having a lot of issues with my period this past year, im not sure why. about two months ago things got really bad with "aunt flo" so I went to my lady doctor who told me I have a hormone imbalance (not enough progesterone, too much estrogen) so she put me on depo.

Depo has been great so far, so im thinking awesome one period every three months. plus, ive been feeling much better. this was about two months ago I got the shot. im thinking im cool until next month. Soooo fast forward to now, aunt flo has arrived... Its not as painful as normal, but still painful and kind of heavy and not what I need two days before the wedding. ugh.

I emailed my doctor to see if she can prescribe me some type of progesterone pill or something to stop the period for a few days. Im PRAYING there is something she can do. I know this happens to a lot of brides with their period, and FI is really understanding...but im hoping for a wedding miracle...

what do you mean by this?

if she can't give you something to stop the period (which i'm thinking isn't likely) maybe she can give you something stronger to help with pain/cramps/period -related discomfort. vicodin and percocet are wonderful....as long as you're functional.

if you're worried about wedding night sex, you can still do so if you have your period. a few orgasms may do wonders for cramps.
  • Two words:  shower sex

  • Why would you start something like this 2 months before your wedding if not being on your period during your wedding mattered so much to you?
Seriously.  You can't figure this out?  Use a tampon, ffs.   And a towel.
  • it's not a requirement to have sex on your wedding night. and you can just throw a bunch of pills at the problem and it will go away, okay? i mean, what's the worst that could happen?

  • @auntflo you need to stop barging in on people's weddings.
  • @AuntFlo crashes every party.

She's learned from @hmonkey about keeping MRE's, rope, duct tape, and adult diapers in her car at all times.
