MN went yay for gay back in April and it became official today.  WBC has planned a protest at our local government center this morning and then is moving a few blocks away to protest my institution for granting benefits to same-sex couples.  Could be interesting.

    If the protests I've seen are any indicator (and I think I've seen about 3-4 over the years now), it'll be about 2-4 people, with more obnoxious signs than people.

    I just went and looked out.  It's a very small group but there is a large group of "counter-protesters" across the street and next to them.  I saw about 3 of their signs but they are surrounded by many others that say things like "Sweaters hate Snags".

    Didn't see that one but my viewpoint was behind the supporters.  There was one guy wearing a belly shirt and short shorts with a sign that said, "I know you want me".  LOL

    Hey @MNNEBride, rumor has it that the WBC has picked up a sign stating, "God Hates Benches" b/c of the atheist monument in FL.  Is it there?  If so...can you get a picture for me to share?  :)

    They've packed up their signs and headed elsewhere.  There were about a dozen of them here.
