Catholic Churches that don't require registering

I'm looking into churches that are closer to my wedding venue, which is 45 mins away from my house.  I've been turned away from a few churches because they require the couple be registered. Have any other brides run into this problem? Does anyone know if any of the churches around West Orange don't require the couple to be registered?

We had the same problem and just registered to be parishioners.  The church we joined uses Faith Direct which means they take your weekly offering out of your checking account.  This was great because being an hour away from the church we could not commit to being there every single week. Good luck with everything

Try a church in Orange or East Orange.  I hate to say it, but churches in poorer areas are much less picky about who can get married there.
