Invitation question

Hello ladies,

So I want my dad to make my invitations.  We designed them and it's exactly what I want :)  I was gonna have him design one then I don't know where to go from there...scan them on a home computer and print up the rest or take the completed invitation to like a kinkos (or I don't know...if anyone does, let me know) and have them printed up.  Also, would this be more inexpensive than going out and buying them?  Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I just DIY'd my invites and I designed the spreads myself (PIB). I designed them in Photoshop and saved them as a PDF. I then took them to the print shop my work uses - Sir Speedy - and they came out just wonderful! For my printing so far, I paid $150 for 200 of each sheet (2, 5-1/2" x 11", 2 page spreads - one of which was printed front and back) and 200 3.5" x 5" reply cards. Sorry if that's confusing! You can see the images in my bio for more clarity. I just took my direction cards and Sunday bruch invitation files there this AM! I'm anticipating another 100 or so for those.

Overall, I found going the DIY route saved me a lot of money, as the invites I was looking at were pretty pricey. It took a lot of time and many headaches but I think will be worth it in the end! GL
