Hey Ladies, happy hump day to all of you!

Today has been good! I slept in this morning, and then we had a hoilday luncheon, with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and lots of other holiday goodies. It was delicious and now I am in a food coma. Only a few more hours to go! :-)

What's the weather like in Pittsburgh?! I see some complaints on FB :-P

Morning!  I am doing my happy dance because I have my first 2 hour delay of the season!  WAHOOO!!!!  I love delay days:-)  by the time I get to work, I have an hour of "planning and homeroom" then 1 hour of class then it's already lunch time.  The best part is we don't have to make up delays:-)

JBee, I wish I had a yummy holiday lunch to look forward to! It's a typical damp/rainy day in pittsburg - at least everything stayed just warm enough last night that it didn't all ice over!

I finished my Christmas shopping last night after I got home from the gym - thank god for amazon

Hey.    I'm back at work after helping my sister out yesterday. She ended up really messing her foot and ankle up. She broke a bone in her foot and has a Grade 3 ankle sprain (the worst kind). She has to wear a das boot, then an ankle brace - and start PT as soon as she can. She is very frustrated because it hurts to walk so she can't imagine going to PT. Poor sister.

Yeah, the weather isn't anything bad yet. Just dark and sort of rainy. It is supposed to get windy and cold and snowy by tonight and tomorrow, I believe.

I continue to be massively jealousE of your adventure, JBee.

Tomorrow is a high of 26.  I actually welcome the snow at this time of year.  It would seem a bit more like Christmas and not be so gloomy for once!

Good Morning.  Yesterday was h3ll at work so I really couldn't knot at all.  That's sad.

Last night, DH and I went out to buy a new lap top since ours is officially dead.  I took it to a computer guy I know and he said the 'outlook is dim'.  I felt like I was talking to a magic 8 ball.  But we got a pretty new HP laptop that was on a massive sale and it has pretty swirls on it.  I'm pretty easy to please!

Now I just have to create a program for my co-workers daughter's cheerleading competition... on Saturday.  I haven't started it yet.  Fun! ugh.. boo for procrastination!

Morning ladies. I am having a wonderful day so far! My horrible neighbors finally had to remove the dumpster from in front of their house so the street seems so much more inviting now!

Sending out my Secret Santa gift today, hope she likes it. And trying to stay busy at work, that's about it for me.

Weather here really isn't that bad.  Typical Pittsburgh.  I actually thought it was a bit warmer this morning than the last couple of days.

Back to work today.  It was nice to work for a Catholic University and to have all Holy Days off!

DF and I had our e-pics taken at PPG place yesterday.  We had a blast!  I'll share photos when I get them.

Good Morning, and Happy Hump Day! I'm feeling a bit better once again, but am exhausted by the end of the day. I wish I had a day to just sleep, but that won't come til Sat. The apt. is a mess from me not feeling like doing anything. DH tries, bless his heart, but I have to tell him everything to do.

Kim - That would not fly in my house either!  If DH wasn't working, he'd have to do everything.  Likewise if I wasn't working.  No excuses.

Good morning! Its rainy and miserable outside here today. We had bad ice storms last night, but luckily it all melted before my morning commute. We still have a little snow on the ground from our big storm this past weekend, but its almost gone! I thought I moved south to get out of the snow and ice?!

I'm so glad this week is halfway over. I think the days leading up to holidays and time off are always the slowest.

marburs - they were calling for snow/ice Saturday night, but it looks like that changed. You should have fine weather, maybe even some sunshine! We're going to a party in Baltimore on Saturday night, so I hope the weather cooperates!

Good morning

I had 3 inches of snow this morning and will probably have 6 by the time I get home.  Took forever to get into work.

Yesterday I had a "talk" with the manager I'm working with now--apparently I did something last week that someone didn't like but no one is telling me what it is.  Today I get to have that "talk" with my manager.  Because that would be useful since she'll reiterate the exact same non-information..  Oh, and I'm the one that's working for two managers and taking on extra responsibility without any sort of compensation.  /vent. (thanks for letting me do that).

Good morning all!  It's about to get verrrrry cold here- low tonight of 8 with a -15 wind chill!  YUCK.  I got some good news yesterday- my insurance company is going to reimburse me for the full value of my stolen purse and everything in it- woohoo!

Meg, glad your engagement pictures went well!  Can't wait to see them

K and K, glad you're both feeling at least a little better today.

Sorry I am so late responding back to posts...

I do leave DH lists of things to do, but I haven't made any lists the past couple of days b/c I've been too tired! We need to do laundry, but I'm too tired to get my dirty clothes ready. We need to clean, but there's so much sh!t everywhere and no space for it (and most of it is mine I should mention). I am a control-freak, so I have to put away my own stuff, but have been too sick too. So while it sounds like I am just making excuses for him, it's both of our faults, really.
