Babysitter for a guest

Hi ladies!  Sorry I have been MIA...work and a little bit of wedding burnout going on here.
We are having an "adults only" reception.  One of our OOT guests has RSVP'd that she will be attending and that her husband and children will be coming to Pittsburgh also.  She asked if we knew anyone or a service for babysitting, otherwise, she will come to the reception alone and her husband will stay with the kids.

None of our friends have children yet so I don't know where to go for a babysitter.  Allowing her kids to come to the reception is NOT an option.  We made a flat line that the only children attending are the ones in the bridal party.  Don't want to open that can of worms with everyone else who has children.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I believe some hotels can provide childcare services (they have babysitters they call). I remember my parents doing this when I was little. Maybe call Sheraton and see if they can help?

But I agree with you, letting the kids come is an absolute no if it's an adults- only reception.

You can check out sittercity.com it lists sitters that are available in your local area and its free to join.

Do you have any neighbors who have kids that you could ask or similarly family members in the area with babysitters? The idea of getting a sitter off a website for a one time gig might not go over too well. I'd want to know that my sitter and his/her references!!! had been properly vetted and that the sitter had experience, wasn't a delinquent, etc.
