Florist Help!!

My fiance and I have been putting flowers off because it really isnt that important to us.  We are getting married in 2 mths and are now starting to look for a florist.  We made our own centerpieces but need someone to do our bouquets, corsages, bout. etc.  We are trying to fnd a place that it very reasonable.  Can anyone give me suggestions on florists???  Our wedding is in the South Hills ares but we can do a Pittsburgh florist.  We also thought about getting flowers from Pittsburgh Cut Flowers and having my fiances Aunt make them (she used to work at a florist in Uniontown. Thank you for your help in advance!!Smile

Val Brooks is my florist - very affordable, she works out of her home, and I really loved her work in pictures (including a recent knottie's wedding).

PM if you want her info.

md and I have the same florist. She's my mom's age (50s) and has been working in flowers since she was 16. I can't say enough good things about her.

We used KS Kennedy for ours. He was really reasonable and worked within our budget. Plus he's fun to work with. I thought to purchase from Pgh Cut Flower you have to be a vendor, but I could be wrong.

We used a South Hills florist and got the following for about $600: bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmaid bouquets, 10 boutonnières (groom, 5 groomsmen, 2 fathers and 2 little brothers), 3 corsages (2 mothers and 1 grandmother), a tossing bouquet, and 2 bags of loose petals to scatter on the registration table, cake table and bridal table. The flowers were absolutely beautiful (variations of dark purple, lilac & white roses) and we were stunned to have gotten such an amazing deal! I would highly recommend them :))

We are using Pete Donati and Sons Florist right near South Hills Village Mall.  He is very reasonably priced and willing to work with your budget.  Pete is definitely someone you can trust, too and that's so important.
