Wedding Update Wednesday

Hi everyone!

What's going on? WR? NWR?

I feel like it's finally time for me to get on a wedding roll!! I feel like so much has been accomplished this week and it's only Wed! I scheduled my first dress fitting for February, I got my sample for the invites in today from my local printer, the set up for our Card box is about complete(a HUGE thanks to my FMIL), and we have our final food tasting tomorrow which we will also be finalizing our menu! What a week!

NWR? I've been house hunting like crazy, we're going to look at a house we fell in love with and are going to see it for a 2nd time on Sat. I'm really excited!

Congrats on everything! Good luck with house hunting, im excited to do that soon.

Looks like things are really taking off for me, I scheduled our tasting at the LeMont for next month, I ordered our invitation pocketfolds (I am doing them myself), I completed my DIY aisle runner (I love it) and did a mock-up of our DIY cardbox, and me and the FI picked out his tux. So I got alot done this week and like you said it's only Wednesday!

Am I the only one feeling like it's crunch time? Soo much to do but I'm excited to do them

joyjosh - I hear you on feeling like it's crunch time.  and FI/groomsmen haven't figured out suits b/c one guy (of 2) hates the one they initially picked out now.  oy.

This weekend is finishing/addressing invite weekend.  I hope we make it through them all!

Yay you ladies are all on the ball!

We got a call from the owner of the art gallery where we're having our wedding reception...and the gallery is moving. So things could get interesting! Kind of sad because the old space was sooo cool and we picked it because it was unique.

sari- don't panic! You'll get everything done, one way or another Our reception is being moved to another building a few blocks down the street, which isn't a big deal- I just hope everyone can fit because it's a smaller space, and that the renovations are done by the time of our wedding!

Md- GL with your other groomsmen! Errr and have fun doing your invitations! I am researching a bunch now, trying to figure out what I want....I ordered a pocketfold and I'm totally not impressed so Idk what i'm gonna do now. Anyway...have fun

Well, I emailed a bunch of venues in WR news this week.  We have two places we'd like to visit; I am hoping they can fit us in this weekend sometime (late notice, I know!).  My FI started working with a venue I'd LOVE to use...but it's way out of our budget.  It's probably my dream Pittsburgh-area venue and I'd love to work something out with them but I'm not hedging any bets that something will work out.

Slightly NWR but also WR - one of my besties (And bridesmaid) got engaged between Christmas and New Years...and her and her fiance are ALSO getting married in April 2013!  She called and asked me if that would be okay because we want to be in each other's weddings...we talked logistics and fun stuff for like an hour and I think it'll be kind of cool!  She currently lives in NYC and is planning a wedding in St. Louis, so we won't be competing over vendors or anything.  Hers will be at the end of April and mine in the beginning.  I kinda want to go to Kleinfeld's and try on dresses just because now!
