1/2 carat diamond with little diamonds around the top half of the band. It was the first one we looked at and I fell completely in love with it. We've been engaged for a year and a half and I still find myself staring at it... I'm completely in love with it!
Please disregard the dirtiness of my hands... we were on day 3 of a backpacking trip so my poor hands were kinda dirty!
My babe surprised me with a new claddagh while we were in Gatlinburg for my best friends wedding. And it's pink!!!! I don't think I'll be using my mils anymore lol I don't ever want to take this one off
Antique from the 1930's, found on Etsy! I'm a sucker for vintage rings (esp. in yellow gold), which worked well since we were on a pretty tight budget too. I love it!
I guess I haven't posted mine, whoops! This picture is my engagement ring with my wedding band while I was playing with it. My engagement ring is sterling silver and rose gold.
Here is mine that I never got to posting! Fi actually had one of our friends trick me and say he was proposing to his gf of the time. He wound up not picking out anything I said and I couldn't be happier! He has better taste with some things than I do...
@melbelleup, that's gorgeous! I love the rose gold.
@brittanyerink thanks I love it! The promise ring he got me has rose gold in it so we wanted to stick to the same, so that was my requirement lol the rest was up to him
Digging the vintage engagement rings! Ladies, are you doing regular bands? Mine is also vintage, turn of the century. My jeweler's jaw practically dropped. Since it's about a size too big, I don't wear it that often. Also, for claddagh lovers, our promise rings - The Man has one too - is a claddagh in a channel formation. We're keeping the claddagh for the wedding band, but instead of silver, we're going with white gold for me, two-tone gold for him. Because my ring is an awkward shape, we're looking at a custom band for me. The blue wax is the mock-up.
