Re: Bridesmaids Across the Country

  • I have BM/MOH in two different states. I chose a common designer dress that they would be able to purchase from different retailers. I chose Bill Levkoff, but there are many others that are sold almost every wear. On his website I was able to choose the dress and put in the zipcode of my girls so that they could order the dress in whatever state they are in.

Davids Bridal is an option as well, as they are a huge chain.  If you need help, let me know.
  • Thanks i have been to Davids.. i was not impressed i was in there for 2 hours and 20 dresses later i didnt like but 4 dresses

i was thinking Bill Levkoff or Alfred Angelo....

  • @thedivav I agree with trying to find a store or designer that has a location in the state your girls are in.

I live in Arkansas, my maid of honor is in Florida, I have 1 bridesmaid in GA, and 3 others in NJ.

I picked out 5 dresses from DB that I thought would look nice on all of their figures, did a poll (yes... I sure did!), and chose the majority vote.  It was much easier for me to handle knowing that every girl shouldn't have an issue and come with the wrong dress. I preferred Alred Angelo over DB, but every dressed that I loved from there was at least $200+.... and with my girls having to pay for flights and hotel fees, I figured I would pick something that they all say they can afford

like all the other ladies said.. before me finding a similar designer and finding stores in their areas.. I went with DB and loved it because.. I can keep track if everyone bought their dress (which all did BUT THE MOH.. BUT we are not going to harp on it even though it was supposed to be ordered by may 31st...) LOL and if there is any issues since its the same system nationwide.. you can make changes from your local store for the girls

I didnt look at BM dresses at Afred Angelo but I am sure it works the same as DB
