Hello Knotties,

I am in search of a makeup artist offering airbrush makeup for my October 2013 wedding in Long Island, NY. I need help identifying an artist comfortable working with African American skin tones. From one bride to another HELP!

    Have you checked into the MAC makeup artist? They airbrush.

    Barbara Bilkerdijk.  she has her own company called B. Cosmetics.  I don't wanna sound all real housewifeish but she's my make up artist - she will BEAT that face you hear?  She used to work for clinique and mac before she started her own thing and the reason she did was just so that she could specialize on the range of tones that non-black make up excludes.  She works on women of all shades but her specialty is brown girls.  She's also brown.    She's in Manhattan and Jersey City, pm me I'll shoot you her number.
