Northern coast beach rental

Hi all! I am interested in finding a house for rent that would allow me to hold a wedding reception. It would be under 75 people. I would prefer a house in Cannon Beach but am open to other areas on the northern Oregon coast. Ideally, I could rent the house and stay for a few days with some of our friends and family. I'm not sure how to find homes willing to allow a reception. If possible, I would like a house that allows dogs. Any advice on where to begin? Are there any other brides who have done this or have considered this option?

Hi! Did you ever find something? We're hoping to do the same thing. I found a great house on VRBO but don't know how to go about it.

Have you tried to contact the owner on VRBO? If so, how did it go? Are they trustworthy? I am looking to use the site to rent a home for the week during the wedding to serve as a sort of home base but haven't found a venue just yet.

Curious about the VRBO as well. I am staying at a house from there just for a getaway, never would have thought of using one as a venue.

I know the owners and they have always gone the extra mile for us to get exactly what we're looking for.  I know they've rented to wedding/reception parties as well with BEAUTIFUL views!
