I'm not prepared,
I'm not excited,
I'm not happy.
I just had my bridal shower, and I got this awful vibe there. It was as if everyone in attendance just came and brought a gift out of some sort of obligation to social protocol, but did not approve of... well... me.
Okay, yes I'm sort of a young bride by today's standards, but seriously? This is supposed to be family. And/or a group of giddy women in general.
Just detached apathy. That's all I got. Besides a few unabashed "I still can't believe..."s
On top of this most recent blow, the wedding is in 3 weeks. We just changed the reception venue, and it isn't ideal. Tons of details are still not worked out, and I'm just overall really very frustrated. Not feeling like a blushing bride.
