How many is too many?

I saw this first posted on fb but also saw it n tk. A bride had 80, yes 80 bridesmaids. How many is too many? I had 7 and that was enough for me I couldn't even imagine 80.

  • I should have invited all of my students to be my BM's too!!  What a great idea.  I would have destroyed her though, since I think I taught about 450+ kids or so last year.  If I'm just using them to upstage her, I don't have to invite them to the reception, right??  :P

  • That is crazy! I'm gonna have 8 and I feel that people will think that is too many. I agree with Maggie that she probably did it for a photo op.

  • I guess it's kind of a cute idea (in a vomit sort of way), but I would be seriously weirded out if I were one of those dance kids' parents. Crossing some sort of line, IMHO.

  • I'm gonna go with a dozen as the cut off. After that you're just trying to make other people happy. We are doing siblings only, and its already 5 each. Can't even imagine if we had friends too.

  • I honestly roll my eyes at any more than 8-10. This is purely personal, I guess I just can't imagine being that close to that many people.
  • I don't have 8 friends, let alone 80.

  • I'm only having two BMs.  But double digits is too many in my opinion.
